Sony Ericsson Beefs Up XPERIA Line with the X8
After the XPERIA X10 Mini and Mini Pro, Japanese-Swedish phone maker Sony Ericsson is beefing up the XPERIA line with a new Android smartphone running the now antediluvian Android v1.6 Donut OS. With the XPERIA X10 already history and a rather underwhelming Android specimen that came out late in the presence of the other more capable Androids from HTC and Samsung, the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 is pitched to a wider market as a lower end Android using the same Timescape aggregator for social networking with its Facebook app. Compare mobile phone deals at online comparison sites to find the best mobile phone deals.
